Grains of History

(2024)

“Grains of History” is a Doc-TV that tells the stories related to the people involved in the production of high quality coffees in south Minas Gerais, on the highlands of Brazil’s countryside: from fourth generation farmers, immigrants and lonely organic coffee producers to the experts, dealers and truck drivers who take the risky journey driving to Santos port, the documentary dives deep into their lives, devoted to nourish, study and understand the most famous beverage in the world, facing all kinds of danger. From that point on, this life’s work makes coffee arrive at millions of cups all around the globe – a daily ritual uniting people and breaking all cultural barriers.
